Freedom Programme

The Freedom Programme runs for 12 consecutive weeks and is for any woman who wishes to learn more about the reality of domestic violence and abuse.

Freedom Programme is a free domestic abuse programme created by Pat Craven, aimed to help you to make sense of and understand what has happened to you.

The program explores the difference between unhealthy and healthy relationships and help group attendees recognise and identify what domestic abuse is and how to break free from it. The Freedom Programme also describes how domestic abuse affects children, and very importantly, how their lives are improved when the abuse is removed.

The Programme aims to:

  • Help women understand the beliefs held by abusive men and in so doing, recognise which of these beliefs they have shared.
  • Illustrate the effects of domestic abuse on children.
  • Assist women to recognise potential future abusers.
  • Help women gain self-esteem and the confidence to improve the quality of their live.
  • Introduce women to community resources.

If you would like to join our Freedom Programme, please call us on 0208 301 1536.
